Whitney Houston to kick off "GMA" fall concert series
The hype machine continues to hum overtime on occasional Atlantan Whitney Houston's new album, "I Look to You," due in stores September 1.
On Thursday, ABC's "Good Morning America" announced that Houston, a former Country Club of the South homeowner (who still returns to the area to visit relatives), will kick off the network morning show's fall concert series this September. No specific date was announced.
"I Look to You," the singer's first new recording project in six years, is being overseen by mentor Clive Davis and will be released via Arista Records, the same label who issued the singer's original hits nearly 25 years ago.
