中國文化局已經批准了惠妮7/22上海演唱會的申請，且沒有對惠妮於演唱會上的穿著提出任何限制和要求，演唱會主辦單位目前正在等待7/25北京場的核准，這是惠妮第一次到中國演唱。

The Chinese authorities have reportedly have given the go-ahead for a concert in Shanghai on July 22. But they did not appear to have made their approval conditional on any particular requirements with regards to the pop diva's outfit or behaviour.

This is in contrast to a planned China tour next year by Britney Spears, which has triggered worries among local officials that the American pop princess might offend local morals with a revealing outfit.

Chinese organisers have also applied for permission for a Whitney Houston concert in Beijing on July 25 and are still waiting for approval, the news agency said.

US band the Backstreet Boys are also expected to visit China in September. But the agency did not say if any special arrangements will be made for the clothes they will be wearing.
